Summary: I already have Kestrel Talon, but saw this used on Craigslist. Always thought they looked cool and for the price, what the hey. Glad I took the chance. It's the most comfortable bike that I have ever ridden for distances of 25 miles or more. Even more comfortable than my mountain bike. Don't understand why these didn't catch on. It's a blast to ride, looks cool, climbs respectfully and is a head turner.
Strengths: Comfort.
Weaknesses: Weight.

Bike Setup: 105 group, Krysium wheels, C2 bars, carbon fiber seat post, ultegra pedals.
Summary: Very versatile bike. If I could only have one bike, this would be it. Great for weekend group rides or triathlons with two position seating. Carbon fiber frames dampens road shock. This bike is a great climber. Finish is 1st rate, graphics aren't the nicest though. Overall a great value. It's like getting a great road bike and tt bike in one.
Strengths: Versatile, nice looking, great climber.
Weaknesses: Paranoid about breaking the frame, although so far it's held up nicely.

Summary: Just to dispel what I am seeing on this review board. Their is no problem running any softride bicycle in a trainer. Not sure where you gents are getting your info. But you should take some time to do some homework, other than hearsay.
Strengths: Both the powerwing and the powerwing 700c have stiffer rear ends than most double diamond style frames. The flex or torque you perceive is due to the brake location. Double Diamond frames have the brake mounting postion integrated into the chainstays and seatstays. Thus the whole rear end flexes together.
Weaknesses: Where as the brake mounting postion on the powerwing is located on the stiffest portion of the bicycle. You experience wheel flex against the brake calipers.

Bike Setup: Shimano Ultegra, Rolf Vectors,Syntace Aero setup.
Summary: This bike is very aerodynamic. The suspension is very comfortable on rides of more thatn 50 miles. The design rocks,and gets attention from other riders.
Strengths: Stiff bottom bracket due to frame design. The suspension beam is comfortable and the frame is one of the most aerodynamic in production.
Weaknesses: The heavy weight about 22 lbs. on race day. The rear brake posistion, its a stretch to get the rear brake pads not to hit the sidewalls of tires.

Summary: Test rode the softride, sold my Trek 5200. Can't say enough about the comfort and handling. Weight doesn't seem to be any problem and climbs as well as my Trek. Long tris and rides are great, only problem you may get a little out of breath while passing people they are always commenting about the ride. Looks cool, rides great...... love it.
