Price Paid:  $899.00 at Dizzy's

Summary:
Just a bought a 2008 Kona Dr. Dew at Dizzy's a couple months ago. Despite only using the bike for basic commuting, the brakes have given me nothing but grief, constantly rubbing and dragging. I've had it in the shop 4 times, and it initially seems fixed, but after one or two rides they are dragging again. The shop seems unable to permanently correct the problem. What's going on??!!

Strengths:
Everything seems great, but the brakes are CRAP!

Weaknesses:
Brakes!!!

Price Paid:  $0.00

Bike Setup:
swithed to Tubomatic Quattro saddle

Summary:
Caught my eye in the bike shop as I was looking for a second bike for a trip to the cafe or fun ride on the weekend. Dr. Dew now comes with Shimano hydraulic discs. the 700C wheel meant that I can switch between my favourite road tires and the wider/more comfy 700X35. And becuz it's disc-equiped, I am even considering building a 26incher to do a lil off-road riding!

Strengths:
The quick handing of the fork, the hydraulic disc-brakes. Sloping top tube = more rigid frame = better power transfer!

Weaknesses:
27mm seat post size!!!

Price Paid:  $1099.00 at Cyclepath (Bloor St.

Favorite Ride:
Kona Dr.Dew

Summary:
A quality built,lightweight(21.3lbs.)Hybrid bike that's "very fast" and "very smooth",and is tricked out with some sweet components by TruVativ,Koski,Avid,SDG,Mavic,Panaracer and Shimano.

Strengths:
Sweet components package,DB 7005 aluminum
frame and probably the lightest weight in its price range.

Weaknesses:
I would've prefered a matching Deore hub for the rear wheel instead of the Sora.
