at Galyans Favorite Ride: Shennandoah Trails/Paths Bike Setup: 18.5" All Shimano, sun rims, Ritchey headset, Shimano Deore Gearing,Ritchey Alpha tires. Summary: I have the 2002 model. This is a great hybrid. It specs out comparable to the Trek 7500, many Cannondales, but costs a lot less. It is light, durable, has great shock absorbtion and comfort for in town rides, or for those 100-200 mile weekend getaways. The components are excellent and operate smoothly. Strengths: Great tubing and suspension, great shock absorbtion and the frame is built for comfort. The frame is also set up to easily accomodate disc brakes and other upgrades. Very reliable and well constructed. Weaknesses: THe frame is chromally, and weighs about 4 lbs. I used to ride a bike that weighed in at about 3.7 lbs. Perhaps they could shave s few ounces off, but I have not had any complaints. Similar Products Used: Trek, Cannondale, Bianchi (this was a straight tour bike)
