Strengths:    Rides effortless on trails and trainer

Weaknesses:    Saddle not as nice as on the 2003 bikes

Bottom Line:
Great looking bike. Built very sturdy and didn't need any upgrades. I may replace the saddle but that is it. I had to replace my old bike (4 months old) because it was too small for me causing lots of knee pain.

Strengths:    Superb 27 speed shimano gears, excellent V brakes with good adjustable front supension and seat post suspension. Light frame

Weaknesses:    None that I have found yet, but I will fit some clipless pedals at some stage

Bottom Line:
If you want comfort on a bike that can go almost anywhere, then this one is for you. My first ride was 76 miles on a disused railway line (track removed, some mud, some blacktop, mostly gravel)no problems apart from running out of energy and "bonking" The riding position is great and the bike looks good.
