Price Paid:
$0.00 Bike Setup: Campy Chorus 9-spd, Balance Hoops, Tektro mini-V brakes. Summary: The purchase of the Dean was based on excellent customer service and a fair price. I was looking for a well built steel bike that could handle my +200lbs on the road and off. I was also particular about top tube length and standover height, both of which Dean was very accomodating with. Strengths: Very stiff yet smooth in the rough stuff. Nimble handling without being twitchy. Welding is top-notch. Weaknesses: Poor decals and extra spacer required on BB. Did not ship in a timely fashion. Similar Products Used: Kona Jake the Snake. Moulden Cicycle Works Cross Bike.

Awesome frame and great company service. Would buy a similar road frame if wife would let me. Have found that a single ring application with spot brand guards on the front works best for cross races in my area. Strengths: Very stiff, very little flex in the frame with tube shape. Steel!, color choices. Steel! oh did i say steel! Weaknesses: me Similar Products Used: redline
