Strengths: Drivetrain, Frame, wheel set, seat which is very comfortable. Perhaps too comfortable.Weaknesses: front fork, seatpost. At 27 pounds a tad heavy.Bottom Line: After doing 3 century rides on this bike I come to love it. The Manitou Luxe fork isn’t the greatest and it seems a little heavy but the bike is solid, responsive, and a good value for the money. Over the course of the year I did upgrade the brake levers to Avid and the shifters to sram attack shorties due to personal preference.

Strengths: Flexible - can use for recrational paved trails, light road riding, or distance rides.Weaknesses: Front fork sucks.Bottom Line: I purchased both the limited edition 201 SX for me, and the 2002 SX for my wife. The 2001 had a better front fork (Rock Shox Metro) - The Manitou on the 2002 was way too wimpy for my 265lbs.
Favorite Ride: 20-30 mile road rides
Price Paid:
$650.00
Purchased At: Bike & Hike - COrval
Similar Products Used: Giant OCR2, Cannondale Super V-500
