Light,stiff and fast. My Aegis is the pro-race stock, black weave in color. I am thrilled with the comfortable ride and great accelleration. This is my first CF frame. I was offered a Colnago C-40 for just a couple $100 more but only with a 4 year warranty. My LBS gave me a deal on the Aegis frame/fork for $1700 vs +/- $2600 list.
I have already set PR's on a standing 3 mile TT and a local hill climb with this bike. The ride is so different and better than my old Colnago titanium frame. Strengths:
Lifetime warranty, crash replacement warranty, stiff, very light and nice looking. I like the fact that it is an uncommon frame. Weaknesses:
I'll admit I still have reservations about the viability of CF over time. That's where the lifetime warranty helps. Similar Products Used:
