Strengths: Comfort in the long haul, response in the sprints. Beautiful polished ti/red-black-white paint scheme with air brush falcon scheme and very unique maroon carbon rear triangle. Beautiful welds. Incredibly balanced and assuring feel.Weaknesses: Frame and fork are around $2700, spendy for a low-profile maker--but they do deliver the goods.Bottom Line: Carrera bicycles are one of the best-kept secrets in high-end road bikes, a small volume Italian maker producing absolutely fantastic frames in every material/combo with faultless workmanship and stylish presentation. Their sensible geometry makes their off-the-rack frames fit like custom, after the first 1/4 mile on my Adone I felt as if I had ridden the bike for years. Most high-end bikes are light, and most are stiff and responsive, but I doubt there are any which combine these features with the comfort this bike provides in distances of 80-125 miles. This is truly one of the finest frames in the world, and I feel blessed each and every time I throw a leg over the top tube.
