Strengths:    Great geometry. Finish is like nothing else. Fast & really comfortable

Weaknesses:    After 1 year .... none

Bottom Line:
A simply a superb piece of engineering. Nothing that I’ve seen gets close to the finish of De Rosa, the frame joins are meticulously refined & the paint work is outstanding.

This bike is startling on hills, every ounce of energy goes straight to the rear wheel & it flies. On the flats it’s truly comfortable & fast, & downhill it’s a very confident ride. The geometry is superb; for me anyway.

The front forks soak up road noise really well & the aluminium frame gives a confident & surprisingly comfortable ride. In-fact this bike is so comfortable it’s hard to believe. 10 hour rides, no problem on this bike.

Strengths:    DeRosa heritage, solid feeling, finish and quality. Stiff but smooth. I get compliments for the nice bike where ever I ride!

Weaknesses:    A bit sensitive paint perhaps...And price always seems high when you pay but you defintively get what you pay for. opinion

Bottom Line:
Had been looking a very long time for a roadbike and finally decided when I got a fairly good deal with my LBS. A very good bike all in all, feels extremely dependable in all situations, superstiff BB and quick but not nervous stering. Feels light. The geometry is spot on, not to slack not to tvitchy. Finish is very good, but be careful with the paint esp. since my bike is shiny black and silver. I have a carbon post, almost a must in my opinion since it actually smoothens out roadbuzz. Frame made of Dedaccia 7003 alu, nothing fancy but it works! Nice straight chainstays (with Ugo DeRosas signature on left side!), smooth barely visible welds, diamantshaped downtube and "aero" forks. Very quick acceleration!A really nice looking frame with nice graphics.
