Strengths:    The incredible ride with no flexing when sprinting.

Weaknesses:    Decals are alittle loud, but so are all bikes now adays.

Bottom Line:
Campy Record Group. Handles like it's on rails, great acceleration. No flex when sprinting, great on bumps. What a ride!!
Added to my fleet that includes a Bob Jackson.

Strengths:    High end materials, construction and of course the Merckx century geometry. Comfort of ride is very obvious esp. when tranistioning from an alu.

Weaknesses:    Cheesy crap downtube graphics. Mine were not really even lined up evenly. But then, that's really not the point. It's Ti and it's a Merckx! Lifetime ride!

Bottom Line:
Replaced my compact alu (TCR 0) w/ the Merckx. Good deal, good price. Set up w/ Dura Ace. Absolute beauty. Craftsmanship is exceptional. Ride is very very nice, esp on climbs and over crap road conditions. Ovalized downtube, no flex even in a sprint. Bike tracks like it's on rails. Super confident booster when blazing downhill. Just a super nice all rounder - crits/RR.

Strengths:    Very comfortable and versatile for longer rides. Traditional lines, beautiful finish and clean welds (built by Litespeed).

Weaknesses:    Minor...location of derailleur and rear brake cable stops. Cheesy decals. Can get comparably spec'd and lighter bikes for same price or less but you get beauty/ride of Ti and Merckx geometry.

Bottom Line:
Review is for 02 Majestic. I've ridden road/mountain for 20 years. I'm 5'9"/175lbs and have put only 150 miles in 3 weeks. In my limited experience I've found the frame to be very comfortable over a variety of terrains and very responsive. OS down tube and seat tube are ovalized at the BB and result in no noticeable flex during hard out of saddle efforts.
