Favorite Ride:
traders point loop

Bike Setup:
Campagnolo Mirage front/rear D's, shifters. Zefiro carbon cranks, Selcof aluminum seatpost & Premium stem and bars. Selle San Marco Magma MC saddle, Campy Record Ti front and Mavic rear brakes. HED Bastogne wheels with Vredestien TriComp tires.

Summary:
Wow. I've taken this bike over some familiar roads I've ridden on my other bikes and it's a terrific ride. Feels a bit quicker in handling and acceleration than my Carb Level - probably due to being all aluminum. It feels like all the power is transmitted to the road with minimal or no loss. Smooth on decents, quick and confident cornering, this frameset with the standard Mizuno carbon fork is another winner from Fondriest. I'd recommend this bike for crit races, fast club rides or shorter road races.

Strengths:
Great fit and finish, crisp handling and acceleration.

Weaknesses:
May be too stiff for comfort on longer rides, no longer made.

Colnago VIP2000, Fondriest Carb Level

Bike Setup:

Summary:
What a sweet ride! I have the carb level but there was no place for the review. I can't believe how well this bike tracks through corners, sprints, and climbs. All of this and it is still a very comfortable bike. My last bike was a c-40 and I kept it for a couple of months, just in case. I sold it with no regrets. The finish is beutiful as well. I have the SAT yellow and it seems to glow in direct sunshine. If you are looking for a great race bike this is it. It seems to do everything well.

Strengths:
stiffness in the drivetrain and incredible steering precision.

Weaknesses:
none

colnago c-40, oval titan, merckx steel
