at Bicycle Buys.com Bike Setup: Mostly Stock, which includes Ultegra group, Stella Italia Flight Ti saddle, Cane Creek S2 headset. Replaced Hutchinson tires with Conti GP 3000's however. Summary: Got this bike to get back into road riding after a fairly long hiatus. Was initially looking for a Ti frame but, after doing some research, decided that the modern steels were better "bang for the buck". Very impressed with the bikes handling. There is one specific turn on my lunch time ride that I hit around 30+ mph and have to get on the brakes to make it around on my old bike. The Ironhorse handles it with barely a second thought, even allowing mid-turn corrections at speed without complaint. I'd highly reccommend this bike for someone like myself trying to get back into the sport or anyone loooking for a gook mid-range bike. Strengths: Crisp, confident handling. Comfortable over longer rides and holds up well in a paceline. Don't feel like it's limiting me at all on climbs or sprints. Weaknesses: Slight "hands-off" head shake at speed, probably due to the shortish wheel base. Mine also came with a white saddle, don't expect it to stay that way ;).
