Summary: DELICIOUS!!! Great frame stiff but comfortable,fast, dependable. At first I had problems with the 1-inch all-carbon fork. I know why manufacturers don't really make them anymore. I swapped in a Profile BSC fork with an alloy steerer and the rest was pure bliss. I basically rode the bike into the ground...even still, I'm looking to get it refinished so that i can keep riding it...
Strengths: The ride and look is sweet,there is a beauty in simplicity (appliance white with carbon graphics)The best thing I can say is that I have tried 3 times to get a new frame to replace it, and I have always ended up going back to it. It was only when I bought a TREK 5900 that I could say that I found a better ride that my KG261
Weaknesses: The fork!! again, no one has any business making an all carbon fork with a 1-inch steerer. Again I put in a Profile BSC fork and it stiffened the front end right up

FSA Compact cranks. (avoid these when possible since they drop the chain very often.)
Regal saddle.
Techtro brakes (buy 105's instead of these - they work ok but they have a lot of play between components of the brake set.)

Summary: I have the KG241 which is the cheaper and slightly heavier brother to the KG261. I saw the frame for sale on the internet and it was so cheap I couldn't pass it up. I expected to use it as a winter beater bike but after I rode it the first time I loved the ride. I put 5,000 miles on it in the first 8 month I owned it and think that it is one of the best bikes I've ever owned. My brother has owned three Looks including his present 555 and they have all been almost faultless bikes. Mine is no exception to his experience. He is 5'8" and 145 lbs while I'm 6'4" and 200 lbs so that should tell you how well Look understands bicycles. Look advertises this as a 60 cm but they measure c-c. I ride 61's or 62's and this one fits me perfectly. I really love this bike. I almost bought another frame I found on the internet as a backup in case anything happened to this one. I will probably upgrade the components in the future to Chorus.
Strengths: Exceptionally smooth ride. Light bike but not an ultralight that makes you nervous on fast bumpy descents. The paint is very tough - usually I scratch up a bike pretty fast but although I'm riding this one all the time there's only a few small knicks here and there. I have no problems trusting this bike through the most dangerous high speed descents.
Weaknesses: It is a little flexible and while it would make a good road racer it isn't great as a sprinter for crits.

Bike Setup: campy centaur 10 speed, cx6 pedals, chris king headset, open pros on centaur hubs, TTT handlebar and stem
Summary: incredible bike-i havent had any problems with stiffness like the one person said, but then again im 130 lbs. incredible on climbs, i havent had any problems on the decents, ive bombed some good ones and it went right were i wanted it to. its a little bit twitchy. took several weeks to get used to the handling but its incredible. great price(bike shop going out of business sale). with my new cx6's on it it is just beautiful. very comfy ride. soaks up a bit more than my old aluminum 7005 frame. i couldnt ask for a better bike.
Strengths: comfy, stiff(at least to me at 130 lbs), beautiful w/ the lugs, great fork that comes with it-soaks up everything and very light for time it came out at 360 grams uncut
Weaknesses: 25.0 seatpost-its so you have to pay $130 for look's seatpost, but fortunately american classic came thru with a $30 seatpost.

Summary: I have had this bike since Christmas and have probably done 5 or 6 rides (I only take it out when its nice enough, the novelty hasn't worn off yet). It is incredibly light and very comfortable. I find it just as comfortable as my Pinarello Banesto Replica steel frame bike that has been my main bike for a while. Unlike one of the other reviewer's I haven't had any problem with flex and find the bike to be very stiff (much better than the steel) on sprints and climbs. This is in spite of the 190 lbs I am carrying around. The bike climbs really well although it is a bit sketchy on descents as compared to my Pinarello. I put Veloce components on it to keep the initial investment down but they have performed great thus far and I got a whole bike for $1,850 which is a great deal for carbon. Cosmetically the bike is really nice. One thing I didn't notice from pictures I saw before I bought it is that the black stripes on the white bike are not painted. They actually mask off this area when they paint and the "black" is actually the carbon weave. Makes for a nice conversation piece.
Strengths: Light, stiff and comfy
Weaknesses: a littel sketchy on descents

Bike Setup: Ultegra,conti tires,selle seat,ttt bars and stem.
Summary: I'm not a racer, but I do ride hard and often.I used to have an aluminum frame which was very responsive and stiff, but this frame blows it away in the comfort department. I use it in a trainer a bit in the winter and I don't find it flexy enough to be at all disappointing. It is right up there with ride quality of a good titanium bike, but a third the cost.
Strengths: Very lite, comfortable and affordable.Mine is black with a gloss finish and beautiful to look at.
Weaknesses: 25.0 is not exactly the easiest seatpost size to find.
Similar Products Used: many much more expensive frames. I'm not trying to make this sound like a budget frame , but it's a steal as far as I'm concerned.
