Everybody in the UK is still waiting for Summary: This review is of a Cyrene frame with Campag Record 10 speed triple, not the Shimano bike from the factory. The frame quality is superb though there were a couple of cosmetic blemishes (early frame bought August 2001?). The ride is what you expect, superb, and the handling secure - we have 25% hills here! The Cyrene does not have the lightest frame, but most riders should own up to the fact they are not Jan Ullrich and ride at 17 mph for 50 miles, not 25 for 150. if this describes you then the Cyrene is perfect. At 3 pounds it is only half a pound more than an Extralight after all and you are reading this because you looked for a triple. Strengths: Quality and longevity, secure handling, comfort - but the last is more down to good fit, wheels and tyres than frame material. Weaknesses: None for the recreational rider. Geometry may not suit the racer - longish chainstays and slightly "forward" weight distribution. Similar Products Used: Mostly Mercian made to measure Reynolds 531, 653, 731 and 708, tourers, audax, low profile time trial and road bikes. Some come very close in weight and responsiveness but all beauty eventually fades,
