Strengths: Smooth, solid, responsive rideWeaknesses: None identified. A regular racer might want something stiffer, but I am unable to identify any flex.Bottom Line: Ride is great--very smooth in the bumps and I do not notice any give in the frame when climbing (I weigh about 200). Much smoother and better overall than my old aluminum Trek 1500 (although the seat and head angles are the same). It's a pleasure to ride--great combination of stability, comfort and responsiveness. I feel like I can ride much longer without getting fatigued or sore and my average speed is up a bit (may be due to exhuberence). Bike came very nicely prepped by Excel, and as a former bike mechanic, I am particular; the only flaw I found was that the dish of the rear wheel was very slightly off. Bike looks very nice and welds are nicely finished, although there is one on the chainstay/seatstay joint that is not quite up to the par apparent everywhere else on the bike (but still fine by normal standards).
