Strengths: Stable, no suprises or handling quirksWeaknesses: Didn't wow me, but some of that may have been the altitude slowed me down some. I would definitely consider another trial on the bikeBottom Line: Rented brand new (first rider) when visiting Santa Fe, NM. Rode up into the hills outside of city. Roads varied from smooth ashphalt to rough chip and seal. Overall a stable, consistent ride. The Omlo handled all roads equally well. Small amount of chatter on chip and seal, but not excessive. Felt stable at speeds up above 30mph (? no computer). I didn't push it too hard into turns because I didn't know the roads or bike well enough to find limits. Felt a bit slow to initiate turns, but held lines well once I found my line. It felt reasonably stiff in the BB, I certainly couldn't flex it, but I'm not a big power guy. It responded briskly to my pedal input and got up to speed easily.The carbon stays defintely soaked up the road bumps and buzz nicely. Overall, a decent, light weight ride (approx 16 lb with Ultegra SL build). The Ultegra SL was smooth and crisp - very nice, and the wheels felt good too.
As an aside Mellow velo in Santa fe were a top notch bike shop. They were very helpful, built up a great bike, had advice for great rides and just seemed pumped to have me rent a bike from them. I would highly recommend them if you go to Santa Fe. Riding in SF is also awesome - the 7000 ft elvation kills you, but is great trainig, its easy to ride to the edge of town and there are beautiful roads up into the hills from all sides.
