Price Paid:  $800.00 at Ron spencer cycles,w

Favorite Ride:
out to southport, through rufford and euxton, early in the morning.

Summary:
This is a quality piece of kit, it rides superb, like you've paid double the asking price!! all i've done is ditch the standard shimano wheels and got some mavic askium black rims, with michelin pro race tyres, improved even more..

Strengths:
good firm ride, responsive.

Weaknesses:
personal preference this, just the wheels and tyres..

Price Paid:  $800.00 at The Bike Factory Che

Favorite Ride:
cat & Fiddle maccasfield

Bike Setup:
Campag Mirage 9 speed,
7030 series aluminium frame, carbon forks,
Mavic CXP21 black rims,
ITM bar

Summary:
Ok this bike is rigid, very rigid and responsive so much so that if you put the full PSI into the tyres it scary, it will skip and bounce on rough roads and fast deceants, this is a highly stiff frame, have I said it was stiff?, Also quite light given the price tag I weighed it in at just over 19 pounds surely my scales are wrong? A good bike for the price.

Strengths:
Nice looking Campagnolo is sexier manufacture than shimano with less, cluttered and cleaner lines than shimano, also the cheaper groups have the same mold/shape as its superior more expensive groups.

Weaknesses:
The rear CXP21 wheel has gone out of true with loose spokes no less than 4 times in two months with not a great deal of ridding, The fact that Campag Mirage has 9-speed and resin leavers just is not on in fact its out of order though black dose look good. How ever I have also found the 12 - 28 cassette tobe to large a ratio, a 12 - 24 or 12 - 26 would of been my preference.

Similar Products Used:
Trial ride of Saracen Tourmalet, a very sexy bike that looks the part a similar price but did not trust those fex spokes wheels on a bike so cheap, Anyone heard of Gippeme Fulcrum wheels?
