Product Description

The Alaris is the best in its class of straight-gauge titanium road frames, based on ride characteristics, features, durability, and weight. Using Seven's exclusive Integrity 325™ tubing, which draws on more sizes than ever of the highest quality domestically sourced 3Al-2.5V seamless titanium tubing, they are able to more finely tune the frame's ride to your needs. Like our double-butted Axiom, the Alaris features:
  • Large diameter chain stays bent for optimum tire and heel clearance
  • Double seat-stay bends for enhanced vertical compliance
  • Ultra-durable 6Al-4V titanium CNC-machined dropouts
  • Composite seat tube sleeve to prevent seat post seizing
  • Laser-engrave stainless steel head badge
  • Lifetime warranty

This great, all-around frame is especially well suited for larger riders and pedal mashers, since Seven can create an ultra-stiff tube set. The Alaris' surprising affordability brings a handcrafted titanium Seven within reach to almost anyone.

Strengths:    Custome fit, Beautiful finish, Stiff or flexy what ever you want. Tell them they will build it.

Weaknesses:    2000 bucks for a bare frame is alot But hey you can't take it with you, enjoy it now... you never know

    Bottom Line:
Finally had to get a custom. Everyone has to sooner or later---yes you do. The ride is great. After I convinced had to convince Seven that I did not want a compact frame ( it took a bit of convincing that bothered me a bit. ). They finally built me exactly what I wanted. The welds are beautiful . It has all the braise on I wanted, where I wanted them. The alaris will be great for light touring. I went with the seven fork and seat post, a little pricey but the ride is great. The fork has the snap I am us to and cuts down vibration. It gives the bike a different look from everyone else's. This frame will be at home in a pace line with the local club or loaded for a trip 3 day trip.
Make sure you go to a good shop to get fitted . It is pretty scary spending this much with out riding it first. Would I do it again... You Bet She sure is pretty

    Strengths:    A real custom 63.5cm
    stiff as a train rail
    smooth ride
    worth every penny

Weaknesses:    The wait, the temptation of knowing where your bike is in the building process, the wait.

    Bottom Line:
    Smoooooth as Buttah!
What a wonderful experience to wind up with the best bike on the planet. I'm big, 6'6" 218 pounds. I wanted a bike that had no flex for sprints and comfortable on centuries. Seven did it and did it right.

Strengths:    Ride quality...absorbs the chatter bumps, but is as stiff as a jet fighter. Bike fit is outstanding. No sore spots anywhere (back/wrists/knees) because this bike fits "me" so well.

Weaknesses:    Only thing that bugged me was that because I had a Compact Frame, the second bottle cage required some washers to rest it over the clamp style Front Derailluer. Looks a bit odd, but functionally is no problem at all.

    Bottom Line:
Going custom at least once in your life has to happen! This bike has the most outstanding handling and ride quality! I am a tad over 200 lbs so the recommended Alaris was a great tubeset for me. Ordering was easy and I know that going to a good bike shop will make a difference. The shop owner took great detail in every single measurement to get me the right fit this first time (measure twice, cut once!).

Custom was also nice because I already owned a seat, wheelset, tires, so I didn't have to "get something that came with the bike that I didn't like or feel the need to upgrade". Every single part was hand selected by me, and that was awesome. Every little part/accessory on that bike is EXACTLY what I wanted.
