at Roadbike Review Clas Favorite Ride: Hill Climbing in Westmount Bike Setup: Wilier K2 frame and fork (w/intergrated headset), Ultegra STI/derailleurs brakes & Cassette, FSA Carbon Crank, Bebop pedals, Specialized Pave (elastomer) carbon post, Deda Synapsi bar, Topolino wheels, Hutchinson Carbon Comp tires. Summary: This is my third bike in 3 months. Since being bitten by the road riding bug I've owned a Specialized Allez Sport (mushy) Specialized E5 (stiff as a board) and now my Wilier K2.
This bike: stiff, tracks like on a rail, spectacularly comfortable, sexy and about the most unique looking bike you'll see anywhere. Strengths: Coming from a twichy specialized to this euro-designed bike is like going from a Ford Focus to a Mercedes - they're both cars, but guess which one is fun to drive?
As stated it tracks straight - steering is precise and there are no suprises. The compact geometry and setback bottom bracket means that this bike allows me to ride a small frame (52.3cm tt c-t-c, 46cm seat tube) but because of its unique geometry it fits me like a glove. Weaknesses: I think the original $3000 is a little steep for a frame, but this is the going rate for top flight stuff, which this frame definitely is. Similar Products Used: Spesh e5, allez sport

Strengths: light, fast, stiff, compliant, smooth, responsive, agile Weaknesses: none Similar Products Used: haven't ridden carbon before. but aluminum, ti, and steel. this is by far, the best.
