Strengths:    Affordable, adequately equipped, solid ride, reaonsable weight, cool mostly black look.

Weaknesses:    Considering the price paid -- none.

Bottom Line:
The Bianchi Pista is a great fixed gear bike for road use. Geometry is quick but not twitchy and it has the great steel ride. Weight is reasonable for steel. If you haven't tried fixed gear you're missing out! It's great fun and the Pista makes it affordable.

Strengths:    Pobably one of the most fun thing you can buy for 520 buck.Really mean stealthy black matt paint. All equipped ,you almost don t have to add anything on it(front brake)

Weaknesses:    Well now i have a bone to pick w/ Bianchi who i bet will read this tomorrow.Dear Bianchi people what is exactly the seatpost diameter?CAUSE YOU GUYS COST ME A $80 SEATPOST YOU PRINTED THE WRONG DIMENSIONS!!!aaaaaarrrrrgGG.And those pedals have to go next year.THEY GET AN OVERALL RATING ON ONLY 4 CAUSE I THINK THAT A COMPANY LIKE BIANCHI SHOULD NOT WAIT UNTIL A GUY LIKE ME TELL THEM THAT THEY MADE A MISTAKE ON ALL THEIR SPECS CHARTS.DO I GET PAID FOR THAT?

Bottom Line:
Well i really wanted to try something new and was tired of my 60 pounds mountain bike,so i decided without ever trying before to go and buy an fixed gear bike.I did some research and found that for a little more than 500 bucks i could get myself a kick ass bike.Bianchi really played it cool, you get the complito bike with pedals(ok they suck a lot but it's ok to start with).I changes the front end(fork, hedast, stem, handlebar)and for around $500 more(you really have to shop around and not in NYC, go on the web you save hundreds cause you don t pay the rent for those bikeshops in NYC)i have now a all carbon front end and now my bike is even more kick ass than the original. The only thing that sucks is the pedals.Bianchi must have made a deal with wellgo or something cause on all the bikes you see those horrors. It's a shame cause the rest is cool though, and you can always buy another pair(on the web remember)Overall as i said that bike is a mean one,it s very fast i recommand putting a front brake(bianchi thot of that by drilling the original fork)cause in NYC it would be suicidal not to have one.Do yourself a favor if you think about buying yourself a roadbike think about this one,all those idiots with their latest titanium bikes and all geared up like they are training for "LE TOUR DE FRANCE"can testify,or maybe not cause actually they only saw my ass while trying to catch up panting like crazy. I am telling you you want to have fun buy that bike and please respect the great Fausto and don't you dare thinking about putting a freewheel on it!!!
