Strengths: Thompson seatpost, full Ultegra/aero shift, low frame profile(reduced wind drag), was able to have manufacturer change some items (aerobars; reccomend swapping for Syntace C-2's; saddle),comfortable aero position setup, capable of really low aero position if swap out the 20* rise stem, minimal suspension action contributes to comfort(approx 1" max. travel), folds and breaks down into padded carry bag that holds extra gears and wheels for air travel.Weaknesses: 1.Steep geometry not as suitable for general raod riding; be aware of such when purchasing; this is a dedicated TT/triathlon bike
2.Mild "rattle" from suspension spring, and can also occur from Dia Compe bar end brake levers 3.Available only factory direct; KNOW exactly what dimensions/size you require before you order 4.WEIGHT!
The only real weakness with this design is the weight; Slingshot needs to address this issue possibly by looking at different frame materials (carbon?)Bottom Line: Steep angle geometry, aggressive forward aero position, comfortable, foldable for easy travel, well spec'd, dedicated time trial/triathlon bike. Price paid is in Cdn $ and includes padded bike travel bag.
