Strengths: The frame's top bar above the folding joint is what keeps this bike solid.Weaknesses: front wheel bearings had to be replaced after a few years. grip shifter is not efficient.Bottom Line: This is a solid bike. I went with the Helio SL because i like to ride hard and this bike offers comfort, reliability, and durability. for advance riders. recommended upgrades: new SRAM trigger shifter, new tires, new derailer hanger, new high rise handle bars, new grips.

Strengths: Drives like a full size bike. Fast, easy to fold and unfold.Weaknesses: This is not a full size bike. You can't muscle it like a full size bike, and it rides hard, because of the racing tires.Bottom Line: The Dahon Helios SL is an awesome folding bike. No problems carrying it into the office. Expect to get a lot of positive attention from co-workers, girls, other bikers, etc.
