Strengths:    Rugged, durable... I abused the hell out of it and it asks for more. Thats a good quality in anything. I have 1148 miles on it and besides the standard cable adjustments and tire wear its as sound as the day I bought it.

Weaknesses:    Heavy .. but what do you want out of a comfort bike. This is a great second bike.

Bottom Line:
Overall a very sturdy and reliable bike as far as comfort bikes go. Great value for the money. I would buy one again if the situation arose.

And yes, I do need to clean my chain and chainringsRead More »

Giant Cypress or Diamondback Wildwood?

I'm looking to buy a comfort/hybrid, for basically a 3 mile commute once every other week, and then a mile trip to grocery store once a week, and also pulling trailer for my 3 year old around neighborhood occassionally. So... low mileage. The LBS has '05 Giant Cypress for $275. The other LBs has GT ... Read More »

I would like a Route from Lancaster Pa to Wildwood NJ

I tried posting in the commuting and touring section but I figured I may do better here. I am planning on riding to the beach when my faimly goes on vacation. I am unfamilar with a good route to travel. Id like to ride direct without relying on a car pickup to go across a bridge. I was consideri ... Read More »
