Nexave front derailleur Summary: I purchased this bike on 1/2/2004 as a replacement for a Schwinn Sierra which was stolen fom my garage and the price reflects a substantial discount for the previous year's floor model. The Supreme with 700c tires appears to be very solid and pedals much more efficiently than the Schwinn with 26" tires. Handles pavement, dirt, shallow gravel, light sand and mud very well.I replaced the OEM Fuji seat with a Viscount web-sprung saddle which is much more comfortable for light off road riding and added slightly wider ATB pedals to avoid occasional slip while wearing street shoes. Aside from occasional derailleur and brake adjustments, and the inevitable flat tire, the bike runs very quietly and handles small pothles and road imperfections well due to the suspension fork and seatpost. I would recommend the Supreme to those looking for a reliable, reasonably priced recreational bike which performs well on a variety of surfaces. Strengths: Pedalling efficiency, solidity of construction, ability to handle multi-terrain surfaces, reliability, quietness and ease of operation. Weaknesses: Stock seat is not very comfortable. The bike is equipped with 700x35c tires which will produced a slight sideways slip when pebbles are encountered on otherwise flat surfaces. I think adding slightly wider tires (700x38c or 700x40c) would eliminate
this problem. Similar Products Used: 2001 Schwinn Sierra GS comfort bike with 26" wheels
