Price Paid:  $750.00 at i dont remember

Favorite Ride:
Raleigh SC30

Bike Setup:
none

Summary:
My dad bought this bike many years ago, i'd say in maybe 2000. This bike is amazing. I replaced my 2004 Vertical PK7 with this and I could'nt be happier! It rides like new each and every day, and the quality of the frame is amazing. This is no off-roader, the ride is jiggly on dirt, and in the snow be prepared to slip and fall. (even though I never have.) I can easily ride miles on this thing without getting too tired. However, the stock seat hurts, if you know what I mean...but all in all, this is an excellent bike, and if you are a person who loves riding around town or going for a joyride, this is a best bet!!

Strengths:
Reliability, easy to ride, comfort, gears, very few problems, competes well w/ others, brakes.

Weaknesses:
Front of the bike jiggles when traveling downhill at high speeds, stock seat comfort, almost severely injured myself with front brakes.

Price Paid:  $325.00 at Bike Empire, Poway,

Favorite Ride:
Poway Roads

Summary:
An excellent bike for someone who is returning to bike riding after many years. If you don't know what type of riding you will be doing and want to experiment, this bike might fit the bill.

Strengths:
Very comfortable. Easy shifting. Seems highly durable overall.

Weaknesses:
Slow -- has wide tires which are not suited for cranking along as fast as one might want to on the roads. Brakes can be fussy to adjust.
