Bottom Line:
I bought a 2003 Rocky Mountain Metro a few weeks ago, and can't get enough of it. Smooth comfortable ride, excellent acceleration, superb handling. I have been riding it on the road a lot and have also hit some trails in the woods. While it is by no means a mountain bike, it still allows you to enjoy yourself on a more perilous surface than asphalt. While it is not a road bike, it still gives you plenty of speed, with its thin tires and light weight definitely being a big help.
