a Commuter
from Date Reviewed: November 6, 2003
Strengths: Fast (be one of the quickest on city roads), comfortable (proven over 1000 mile epic in UK), versatile (can do 1000 miles with full panniers and 3-man tent on the rack as well as sprints around town) and a good price too!Weaknesses: Thieves like it too.Bottom Line: My trusty Sirrus Sport '03 carried me 1000 miles from John O'Groats to Lands End without any problem - a very comfortable ride. I also used it daily on my 5 mile commute to and from work in London. It's a fast, comfortable and versatile bike. Unfortunately it was stolen. I've since replaced it with a Sirrus Elite '03 - for a speedier commute. I recommend any Sirrus bike for fast commuting, recreational use and touring.
