Strengths:    Lightness, agility, handling, speed, warranty (which unfortunately I have found most useful).

Weaknesses:    Unreliable components (cheap Specialized/Shimano/Alex mixture). Overpriced.

Bottom Line:
Disappointing. This bike handles extremely well - it is agile, quick, and light. All of which is good news for commuting through across London, and priced at a fraction of the cost of travel card it is almost in the disposal category of transport. The bad news: this bike doesn't seem to be built to last very long - I've done about 2000 commuting miles on it so far and I would be surprised if it lasts another 2000 miles. within 600 miles I had to replace both tryes (the rear tyre split along the rim, and the front tyre was shredded by grit). The bottom bracket had to be taken out and a hole drilled in the bottom of the frame to allow it to drain properly. The bb was regreased and reinserted. When wet the suspension seat post creaks, and presumably this was how water was getting into the frame. The rear wheel failed to stay true and I had to have it trued about every three weeks until I persuaded the dealer who sold me the bike to have it rebuilt under warranty. This they have now done. The front chainset bent, and though it has been repaired it is still slightly bent. The chain jammed in the rear derailleur causing the chain to snap and completely destroying the derailleur in the process.
