Favorite Ride:
Silver Comet Trail

Bike Setup:
Shimano 105 front/Deore LX rear
LCD drop bars w/Dura Ace bar-end shifter
Lightning seat bag
Rack
Time Alium ATB pedals

Summary:
The Lightning Phantom II has the same equipment groupo of the P-38 for about $800 less. It is comfortable, handles like a sports car, and is a bike I can ride all day long--and I have.

Strengths:
Most recumbents suck going up hills. Not the Phantom. The only recumbent that will outclimb the Phantom is the P-38. It is also a very comfortable bike.

Weaknesses:
Nothing major. While the lightning seat is very comfortable, it requires tightning up the laces occasionally.

Similar Products Used:
I previously owned a RANS Tailwind. It was great bike, but does not compare to the Phantom II. I wanted a SWB, and tried the following bikes before buying the Phantom II.

RANS V-rex
Vision V44
Ba
