a Commuter
from Date Reviewed: October 7, 2003
Strengths: Fast, comfortable, stable at all speeds. Very nimble once you get the hang of it. Fits tall riders (I'm 6'7" / 225 lbs). Shifts well. Stops on a dime.Weaknesses: No shock absorbers on the stock model (aftermarket stuff is available at a price) making rough roads slower going. Backward visibility is more like a car, so one must learn to use mirrors.Bottom Line: This bike has exceeded all my expectations. Now that I'm pushing 50 years, my wedgie was killing my wrists and neck, even after my 15 minute commute. Now I even ride my bike just for fun. This bike is fast and comfortable, no matter how long the ride.
