Strengths:    Stiff, fast, comfortable

Weaknesses:    DEAN Ultimate Bicycles is a small artisan operation. It builds bikes to order which is kind of cool. The other side of this is that getting the bike takes a while. So do not order one of these if a ride is planned for it next week. Nevertheless, they do a good job with communication and support.

Bottom Line:
Built this frame about three weeks ago. Have raced on it twice and put in a couple hundred happy miles already. With the stout bi-ovalized downtube and beefy chainstays this is a very stiff and fast machine. It is very responsive and, for me at least the geometry and sizing is perfect. This is my first extended experience so I cannot generalize but I am very impressed with the combination of clear road feel while bumps and rough pavement are nicely muffled. The carbon stays, an Ouzo Pro carbon fork and a carbon seatpost probably help but this is a very comfortable, smooth riding, fast machine

Compared to comparable Litespeed frames this is a very good value with nice welds and superb workmanship.
