Strengths: Componentry works well togetherBottom Line: I hadn't ridden a road bike since I was a teenager (in the 80's). It didn't take much shopping to realize that MUCH has changed in the road bike industry! After doing some comparison shopping and asking a lot of questions, I decided on this bike. I have been very pleased with my decision. The ride is quite smooth in spite of the absence of a carbon fork. The bike changes gears very smoothly and it gives the impression that the chain rings and the chain are well matched. I have been riding this bike since Mar.03 and have put nearly 1,000 miles on it. All components are holding up well. The bike is also light for its price range. I really have no complaints regarding this bike. I think it was a great investment and a whole lot of bike for the money!
