Strengths: light, stiff, flies up hillsWeaknesses: noneBottom Line: This bike has significantly increased my riding level in a very short period of time. After upgrading from my specialized allez, riding isnt at all about training for other sports like it was when i first started riding with my dad, but now its all about the riding itself. With my old specialized i had a triple up front, and the shifting to the little chain ring was constantly a problem for me, but since i got my fuji i have been able to blow away many of the more experienced riders in my club. With a double i am able to maintain an average of 12 mph up mount mitchell, something i never could have done on any other bike. In fact, now i almost never am out of the big chain ring to try to max out my average as much as possible, and with my fuji pro its easy.

Strengths: componentsWeaknesses: hard ride and poorly made frame, truly a production bikeBottom Line: Very disappointed with this bike, while the components are great the ride is harsh and unforgiving. The geometry is set up for a large uper body and small lower body. The welds are very poorly done and look horrible. My neighbor and I have the same bike and both have experianced severe headset shake. 2 Fuji dealers have looked at our bikes and don't know where the problem is coming from. I feel every bump and because of the harsh ride I have decided to swap frams and move to a Look 481sl for comfort and handeling.

Strengths: It is light, with carbon in all the right places. The Dure Ace 10 speed Componentry is amazing!!
Fast - it has get up and go like no other bike that I have been on.Weaknesses: I am not a fan of the red, white and blue, but I get nice compliments from others, so maybe it is a preference thing.
The white handlebar tape must be changed at dealers expense - it is a filth magnet.Bottom Line: I have run the course of road bikes - and this bike is the best value and best ride that I have found. I live in a fairly hilly area and came off of a triple chain ring, so I was anxious about the double chain ring that came with the Dure Ace 10 speed. Wow, nothing to worry about there - a great gear range and extremely efficient. I have been able to tackle some serious climbs and have blown past riders that were superior to me on previous rides with my other bikes. The Fuji Professional has the "Pow" that I was looking for in a bike - it makes me feel faster, stronger, and more confident than I have been in the past. I was sceptical of what felt like an off brand of low end bikes - I am a converted sceptic and would recommend this particular bike to anyone in this price range. The Fuji Pro rocks!
I got to this bike after having grown out of the Lemond, Nevada City and then the 2003 Trek 2300. I loved that bike, but it was stolen and the 2004 upgraded in price and componentry. In my opinion it could not compete with other bikes out there in terms of value, which is how I ended up with the Fuji. I did my research and this bike is the best bike that I found.

Strengths: · Components – Dura Ace, Ritchey WCS, Carbon seatpost
· Stiff frame, but still compliant (i.e. 70 mile ride won’t beat you up)
· Light weight – 17 lbs w/o pedals (56cm)
· Carbon seat stays and steer tube – Helps to absorb that road shock
· Bi-ovalized downtube for added stiffness
· Integrated FSA headsetWeaknesses: Weakness:
· Decals border on flamboyant
· Wheels are a bit heavy
· Ritchey WCS CranksetBottom Line: I had this bike for approximately 3 weeks now, and I’m VERY pleased with it. The ride is phenomenal, and at a fraction of the cost when compared to the likes of Colnago, Klein, Bianci etc.
When you pump into the pedals the responsiveness is inspiring, and the frame rigidity gives you confidence that you can give it more. The cornering is crisp, although I think a 43mm rake would be more appropriate than a 45mm rake.
Contrary to another post in this thread I have found the paint to be fairly good, and that’s based on the fact that I’ve taken the wheels off several times, and the paint on the dropouts has stayed in tact for the most part. If it sticks on the drops it will most likely stick every place else.
I did have an issue with burrs in the seattube that left some gouges in the carbon seatpost. I would suggest 1. Inspect for burrs, and if they exist file them down, and buff with a finish grade sandpaper 2. Turn the seatpost collar around to face the stem so that the pressure point isn’t where the seattube flexes. Most carbon seatpost manufacturers suggest this.

Strengths: Dura Ace bike for 105 price! Fairly light weight, stiff without being painful, and great looks.Weaknesses: Ritchey crankset -- already been back to the shop 3 times to get it worked onBottom Line: After riding a couple of years on my trusty steel steed -- a Jamis Eclipse -- I decided that I needed something lighter to keep up with everyone in the hills.
After looking at various manufacturers and reviews, it certainly looked like the Fuji Professional would be the best bike for the money, by far. The only upgrade I decided on was the wheelset, putting some Ksyriums on it.
I now have about 700 very pleasant miles on this bike and have been very pleased with everything but the Ritchey crankset. I haven't seen anyone else complain about it so maybe mine is just the odd one out. If not for that, this bike would be a perfect 10 for overall balance of performance, agility, ability to ride long distances without pain, and good looks.
