Strengths:    105 stuff works well. frame is stiff. I wrecked pretty badly and the frame held up fine. I needed new bar tape and replaced the left shifter, but that doesn't have anything to do with the bike (you wreck at 20mph, and who knows what'll happen)

Weaknesses:    The seatpost was far too short for me. Is the fork really carbon? it has the weave, but seems to be shaped more like an aluminum fork.

Bottom Line:
A good all-around bike. Stiff frame, fairly light and decent components.

Strengths:    Smooth ride. Good value. No problems whatsoever.

Weaknesses:    I would like longer cranks and a stiffer frame for climbing. The stock 25mm tires should be replaced with 23mm.

Bottom Line:
Bought this bike used but <300 mls. Logged over 2400 mls. This is a huge step up in ride quality and efficiency from my 80's vintage Bianchi. I am 6'3" and have a 64cm frame which is perfect for me. Frame welds are not pretty but the bike is a really good trainer.

Strengths:    Performance, price, component set. Wheels have handled my 200Lbs VERY well.

Weaknesses:    Red bar tape gets dirty quick. Weak stock tires.

Bottom Line:
What great bike. I love it. It rides and handles nicely, it's light enough and it looks nice too. Best of all, it doesn't cost a lot.

The Conti Sport 1000s aren't the best rubber in the world though.

Strengths:    Quiet ride, 105 triple shifts dependably if not always cleanly. Carbon fork. Entire bike is around 18lbs. (56cm)

Weaknesses:    Not as solid in construction as a $2000 carbon fiber bike would be. duh.

Bottom Line:
I bought this bike to replace an aging Cannondale R500 aluminum bike with RSX drivetrain. The old RSX had a 26/36/46 chainring which I topped out on regularly when riding downhill. I was looking for an affordable 105 triple based bike with a carbon fork, and a frame that wasn't as flexy as many alum frames tend to be. NOTE: The newer versions of the Roubaix from Fuji (2004 and on) do NOT use X-Fusion any more, you have to upgrade to the next model and pay more $$$. Anyway, I found this bike to be very forgiving of road chatter, and the wide Richey handlebar is good for average to large riders. The stock seat is also quite comfy, it was embroidered and looks good. Good bike all around for the money, if you're into 50 mile weekend rides and the annual week long bike vacation.
