Strengths:    Frame is world class, and the bike is fast.

Weaknesses:    Tiagra parts and wheels

Bottom Line:
I really like this bike so far! I've only been riding it for a month, but I can tell you that it is really smooth, quiet, and FAST. Not sure about the wheels that came with it (Matrix brand), and everything is Shimano 105/Tiagra mix. I'll eventually upgrade to all Ultegra components and better wheels (Mavic Ksyrium Elite, if I can save the money!), but I'm happy with the current setup, as it shifts quicky and smoothly, and the wheels are performing well enough (I hit a bad pothole with no damage). The frame on this bike is top notch (as are all Klein frames), so that was the real selling point. The bike shop spent a considerable ammount of time sizing me to the bike, and so far, it has made all the difference. Frame is all aluminum, with carbon fork and seat stays. All in all, a very nice bike!

Strengths:    The look. The fit. Riding a Klein (it's cool).

Weaknesses:    Shifting delays

Bottom Line:
I am a reformed marathon runner -- lotsa miles = bad knees. First serious bike.

Great fit for my stocky body. Comfortable at all speeds, easy to handle, takes the bumps bettter than expected.

Strengths:    Smooth, fast ride

Weaknesses:    Compnents

Bottom Line:
Great bike. Tested a comparable Giant with better components but it didn't feel nearly as smooth, fast or comfortable. Switched from MTBiking to road biking when m daughter was born. Now my whole time is spent riding. Not driving to the trail. My MT Bike was a Klein as well.

Strengths:    - Stiff, but still comfortable for all-day rides.
- Beautiful paint job
- Great finishing and attention to detail

Weaknesses:    Hmm, not many... have to be picky:
- Hefty saddle
- Awful puncture-prone tyres
- Ugly unbranded stem (very short, very high-rise)

Bottom Line:
Like a lot of others I was coming back to road cycling after many years MTBing. So the Klein appealed on brand name and looks - as did the fantastic paint job (Reef to Sky Blue... all shimmery!) and beautifully-made frame.
Got the last one of the '03 models from a mail order supplier here in the UK, at a reasonable discount AND with upgraded Bonty Select wheels. Luckily I already knew what size I needed, having tried friend's bikes.
First impressions were - Aargh! Never buy a bike mailorder!! Really badly set up, I don't think they'd touched it since it came from the factory.
Still, once everything was lubed and adjusted it rides brilliantly. Carbon rear end gives a really comfy ride for such huge tubes (always ridden steel before, so this was a relief!).
Groupo is a bit low-end but does the job nicely, will upgrade to more sparkly bits as it wears out. Definitely a bike suited to covering long distances...
I thought the included Bontrager saddle was pretty comfy, but it seemed really heavy. Stuck my old favourite Flite Ti on instead and used the Bonty on my spare bike.
The bars are great, too. Subjective, I know, but the anatomic bend seems just right.
The only downer was the tyres, which puncture more than a puncturey thing in the Puncture Parade on National Puncture Day - surely a bit out of place on a bike this price?
Summary: Sharp handling, comfort and looks. A great combination. Fairly sure you're paying a bit extra for the name to some extent, but at the end of the day it feels worth it when I'm out on it.

Strengths:    Klein quality, frame design, comfortable ride, lifetime warranty.

Weaknesses:    Components are a little lower end than I would have liked.

Bottom Line:
I am another avid mountain biker who started riding on the road recently to complement my mountain biking. I currently own a Klein Mountain bike and fell in love with the design, quality and ride. I immediately turned to the Klein road bikes when I started looking. I rode the Trek 5200 to see what the advantage of carbon was. I was very impressed but did not want to spend that much money for something I am not going to be doing more often. I hopped on the Q Carbon and felt like I did not miss a beat. The Klein is just as smooth to me as the 5200 is and does an excellent job moving my 6'2" body down the road. Components are a little on the lower end but those are easily upgradable. The frame is what sold me. With internal cable routing, the cables are protected and allow me to enjoy the frame that much more. With a lifetime frame warranty it was a sure bet for me.
