Strengths:    weight,
CF
ride quality
A 5 YEAR warranty!!! that includes a personally ID'd card from the frame builder (might not mean squat but impressive none the less).
Replaceable headset cup.
Beautiful Ferrari red paint job, (I hate red bikes too!)

Weaknesses:    none so far

Bottom Line:
Bought this frame for my wife and she absolutely loves it. I took it out for a spin and I can say it just 'mutes' the bumps. Its hard to describe because it doesnt hide the bumps just 'mutes' it. Kind of like how a BMW handles, you feel the bump and know its there, unlike a honda in which you feel the bump when driving. Sorry for the poor analogy, but the bike really rides well and is perfect for those really long days in the saddle. The bike is spec'd with Ultegra parts and Rolf Vector Pros that still ride well and it seems to be a nice combo for the frame (a 30mm rim that is).

Strengths:    Great looks & Great ride quality

Weaknesses:    Frame strength (I'm 170 and not a powerhouse)

Bottom Line:
I purchased the frame from Excel and had my LBS build it with full Dura-Ace (FSA Cranks). 17lbs bike, it was awesome. Bike handled great, smoothed out the bumps, & got allot of compliments. Then the frame cracked (where chain stay meets BB) after 3 months of riding. I sent the frame back and got another one. Two weeks of riding and it cracked in same location. I was taking it easy on this frame 'cause I was worried it might happen again (which it did). Now I'm with out a ride till I can find something else (waiting to see the 2004 line up).

Strengths:    weight - a hair over 18 lbs!

Weaknesses:    none

Bottom Line:
What a bike! Remarkable acceleration on flats and hills. Only complaint-after a few rides, the left, rear wheel adjustable hanger slid back causing wheel to go at an angle and taking off a little paint on the inside of the wheel stay. Maybe I'm at fault but you'ld think it would come from the factory tightened down. This bike is a looker! Be ready for compliments at every ride. Guys at Competitive Cyclist are great at working to get you what you need. The frame does run big...what look calls a 53cm has a 54.5 top tube.
