Strengths: Stiffness, and comfort, responsiveness.Weaknesses: WeightBottom Line: The 486 one of the stiffest carbon frames I have ridden. It remains fairly comfortable on medium to long rides. The geometry allows for quick and nimble handling, but care needs to be given when cornering. It accelerates instantly without hesitation.

Strengths: Weight, Looks, Carbon absorbs the road well so after long rides your not beat up. Looks, Very quiet and oh yeah, Looks.Weaknesses: Clear coat chips easily. Quality bikes like this one should have quality paint and clear coat.Bottom Line: Very nice ride. Bike looks like a fighter jet. I get compliments on the looks all the time. Carbon frame and fork are very smooth on those not so good roads. I used to ride a cannondale (aluminum) and it was a bit stiffer but all around this bike is in another league. It climbs very good, and is very fast and quiet. Only complaint is that the clear coat chips very easily so you've got to be very carefull.

Strengths: Very nice looking frame and rides very well (when working). It's great on hills.Weaknesses: In my experience, it has been like a Triumph TR7. When working it was great, but don't expect to ride it long, or to have a dealer/distributor to back you up.Bottom Line: LOOK makes very nice frame and when it is "tuned" it works great. It is like owning a high end sports car, when it's working it's great! But I have experience an incident that has left the bike unusable. The replaceable rear derailleur hanger broke (not due to any crashes) and was sucked up into the rear wheel. After the hanger was replaced the bike now creaks like it’s frame is cracked. In addition to the derailleur hanger the rear derailleur and chain had to be replaced as they were too badly bent to work properly. The distributor (Veltec Sport) has the position that it’s not their bike, and it must be rider error or the bike shop that created the problem, but it CAN’T be their bike. They offered a crash replacement at a reduced price (35% off list).
I have purchased a number of higher end bikes from the shop that assembled the frame. I have not had any problems EVER with their work. The bike’s derailleur hanger broke without any crashes ever to the frame and it had been checked out two weeks before the hanger broke and ridden twice before the break (two, 1 hour rides).
I mentioned earlier that it required a lot of tuning; it does as it seemed to develop bottom bracket creaks and moans very quickly. I had to bring it into the shop to try and fix the issues, it seemed to work, but not enough time to find out. Of course I won’t know now as I don’t think I’m going to take Veltec Sports up on their pathetic offer of a price about 5% less than dealer pricing.
I think I’m going to cut my losses with this bike and move to a company that stands behind their product. As I have dropped an additional $400 on a new rear derailleur and chain just to find out the frame is now most likely broken. The price is not including the Limar F111(saved my head!!!) helmet and TDF Ksyrium rear wheel that were also damaged and have to be replaced.
All I can say it buyer beware!

Strengths: Even with aero features, it stiff enough on side flexes. Absorbs bumps superbly.Weaknesses: I can't say more than praises to this bike. Everyone who is planning to start with high end carbons this should be it.Bottom Line: This bike is a very responsive bike and forgiving. It has a very unique frame design and a real looker. I would say this bike will be the next types of bike designs to come.
