Strengths: Ultegra, carbon stays/forks/seatpost
Value.
Beauty!Weaknesses: Cosmos wheels are hardly a weakness, merely not as exquisite as the rest of the bike. Wheelsets seem to be enjoying a reniassance of technology/price, so I may upgrade to Ksyrium Elites or similar.Bottom Line: Though it seems I'm late for the party, I'm thrilled to be back on a roadbike. I looked at a few bikes before seeing a Masi in the LBS, then found this Gran Corsa on Ebay with low miles for an irresistable price. I love the stiffness of the aluminum with the shock-absorption of the carbon stays and fork (it really works!). Like the other reviewer I wouldn't mind better wheels, but the Cosmos so far ride great and haven't dissappointed. The rest of the hardware is choice and the frame itself seems well-built. I took the time to put lube in all the cable housings and tune and tweak everything just a little better and I LOVE this bike. My MTBs are languishing in neglect!
Favorite Ride: Any crumby, cold, car-dodging ride beats sitting at a desk.

Strengths: Light, Fast, Great Value.Weaknesses: No major weaknesses thus far.Bottom Line: I have only had the Gran Corsa for 10-days and thus far it has been exceptional. This is a very light bike (18.7 lbs) that climbs quickly while remaining extremely solid on descents. The carbon seat post, steerer tube, fork, and seat-stays make the aluminum frame incredibly forgiving over long rides. The Ultegra components have performed perfectly, but again everything is still very new. I would have liked to see a slightly higher end wheel set than the Mavic Cosmos, but they are still light wheels that are very sturdy.
Favorite Ride: Anything in the mountains
