Strengths: Very light 2.0 lbs Very forgiving, and great qualityWeaknesses: price and non transferable warranty.Bottom Line: I just received the bike and I've been riding for a week now. What a nice riding bike, very forgiving, responsive, and climbes very well. The bike weighed in at 15.5 lbs. The workmanship is top notch I'm very pleased.

Strengths: Ti is nice. I'm only 130 lbs, so the frame is great for me, don't know about big guys...
When I looked for a bike to last, I decided to go with Ti. Of the Ti manufacturers, I wanted to use the best, that's Merlin. Super clean, beautiful craftsmanship and it'll last forever. I can't imagine bikes going lighter than 2.2 lbs. and still ride well. So this may be one for the record books. Perfect craftsmanship, will last forever, great ride characteristics. What else is there?Weaknesses: It aint cheap, but its worth it.Bottom Line: Very light frame, with Ouzo Pro fork Spinergy XAERO wheels, very stable at high speeds and climbs well. Long seat stays are great for comfort and is noticable on cobble roads. The best bike I've ever owned. Geometry is comfy but can be raced.

Similar Products Used: Miele Alfa, Sakae Litage, K2, a couple of Specialized, Giant TCR Aluminum, TCR Carbon, Tetra Pro, Serotta Ti, Litespeed ghisallo, some other steel and aluminum bikes...the ghisallo was nice too, but not as stable at high speeds as the magia.
Bike Setup: Dura Ace 9, Spinergy Xaero wheelset, sometimes R2 wheels or Chris King/Velocity wheels, mostly the Xaero rear and R2 front. American Classic Ti seatpost, Terry Butterfly? or Flight Ti, 42 ITM bars, 165 DA cranks, 39-53 and 13-27 rear, speedplay x2 pedals, thomson heavy ass stem 120. The Ouzo Pro makes a big difference in ride quality.
