Strengths: Light, and fast
Carbon Fork
Nimble, responsive handlingWeaknesses: Loud tires
Tires could use more gripBottom Line: I have the 2005 Model, which I believe is very similar with only minor, mainly cosmetic changes. Firstly, this is my first aluminum bike I owned. Despite the bad rep of aluminum bikes for there harsh ride, I did not find the CRD2 to be harsh at all. The Carbon fork does a good job at absorbing the little bumps. This bike was very well designed, the geometry, how they beefed up the tubes, everything was great. The bike accelerates quickly, and is nimble, and responsive in corners. It also gives good feedback to the rider, I have lots of fun riding this bike.
