Strengths: Very smooth ride.Weaknesses: Need to visit your bike shop weekly to keep the bike in top shape.Bottom Line: A very good friend lent me a P3 to train and race this summer. From the first ride, I have experienced problems with the bike. Problem number one was a less than perfectly true wheel which rubbed against the very tight rear frame. Got wheel trued and fixed the issue. Next ride was a loose bar end shifter. Brought to bike shop and got problem fixed. Third ride was a rear wheel brake which would hang up after braking (standard bike uses a cheap Diacomp brake which should not be installed on this bike). Brought to the bike shop, took the brake apart and got it fixed. Rode another 100 hundred miles and the seat began tilting forward. Back to the bike shop which could not fix 100%. Still some saddle rocking if you are not cautious.Rode the bike for another two hundred miles and the rear wheel started rubbing against the rear frame. Scheduled for another trip to the bike shop. The bike rides beautifully when all issues are fixed. However, way to many mechanical issues to recommend to your worse enemy.
Similar Products Used: Previous bike was a Lite Speed Blade. Put 20,000 miles on the bike without it ever seeing a bike shop.

Strengths: Top-notch performer with un-rivaled aerodynamics. Flexibility with seat position for tri or road use.Weaknesses: May be stiff for some on century+ rides.Bottom Line: Sales-end of transaction was simple and to the point. Price was for frame only. Frame arrived flawless. Built bike w/ Dura-Ace and have training wheels as well as ZIPP 404's for racing. Paint was outstanding (high gloss, no chips marks or dents!). Assembly a little difficult with internal cable routing (but they are all tough that do this). I have been very satified with the set-up. Great power transfer to the wheel, great stiffness, reasonable weight. Great adjustment with rear wheel and set bolts in the drop-out to assure proper position for road or tri-race. I elected to buy the 2001 instead of 2002 model 2 years ago since I am more comfortable with a standard headset instead of integrated. One of my all time favorite Tri-bike and tons of performance. This bike really made a difference in my times.

Strengths: super stiff, super aerodynamic and fantastic build. Great looks!Weaknesses: None so far.Bottom Line: Oh my god! this is THE fastest bike i've ever ridden in my life. It accelerates like a slingshot, and super aerodynamic. I've been skeptic about all the reviews until I bought one myself. They were all true, this is truly the fastest bike ever.
Favorite Ride: Riding down the beach

Strengths: None that stand out in my mind.Weaknesses: Bad paint. Lousy Customer Service, quality control and attitude. Is Cervelo enjoying too much success from last year and now trying to cut corners to meet increased product demand?Bottom Line: This bike is awesome to ride however my beef is with the quality of workmanship. After waiting 6 months for delivery I was not happy with the bad paint job on my first frame and asked for a replacement. Dents, flaking paint, etc mean to me that there is a serious problem with quality control. Two subsequent frames were sent back by Cycle Logik because of similar problems. Earlier this week a 4th frame arrives with a dent in the top tube. When I tried to address this matter with customer service in Toronto I was told that that was the best job Cervelo could do and that I should go to another manufacturer if was not happy. No negotiation, nothing! Call me old fashioned but for over $5000 (Cdn) I expected a bike with a great ride and great paint! Guru here I come!!
