Tangle bags are adjustable, non-custom, rectangular-shaped frame bags that leave room for both water bottle mounts on the frame. Designed to fit a variety of bike frames, these bags can be used for everyday riding & commuting, gravel grinders, White Rim trail in a day, racing the Great Divide route, and big trips.
Strengths: Highly water resistant, two pockets, accessible while riding. Pass through for light cables or water bladder hose. Light/bright interior so things like black cell phones are more easily seen. Revelate Designs "sales team" is great. Eric was very helpful, even though he knew I wasn't going to get the whole custom kit for touring that his company is targeting.
Weaknesses: Too tempting to put too much into it and then end up bumping it with each pedal stroke. That's operator error, though, when I put a midweight jacket into it without stopping to tightly roll it up.
Bottom Line:
This bag is great for carrying lots of small items. It holds keys, wallet, cell, work cell, and a small snack without a problem. It is relatively easy to put on and remove from a bicycle. No tools needed.
