Strengths:    Not too bright, simple to operate

Weaknesses:    None found thus far

Bottom Line:
I bought both the front and back light versions of the Omni 3. Some folks need obnoxiously bright lights for night riding, but being a night owl I find these to work just fine. Then again I never understood the need to blind someone at night to let them know you're present. These lights are bright, but not blindingly bright--at least not to me. The operation of changing the mode or turning on/off is nice and simple, and I greatly appreciate that the batteries used are the commonly-found AAA kind.

One can find other lights for less than $20 each, but CatEye is a notoriously good brand, so why settle for a lesser brand?
