Strengths:    BRIGHT
Compact
Good charge duration

Weaknesses:    Charge port cover is a bit hard to close.

Bottom Line:
This light is compact, bright, and easy to use. Cygolite sent it to me as a warranty replacement for my Milion light after the mount broke, despite the fact that the Milion broke 3 months after the warranty expired. The attachment point for the handlebar mount on the Expilion looks different from the Milion mount, so Cygolite appears to have addressed a design flaw in the Milion.

Rechargeable and self contained were the big draws to this unit. This will go on the bars as it's too heavy to wear on helmet. Has a pretty narrow beam imo but not an issue as it wont be used for illumination, mostly to make myself visible to drivers. Not bad at all for a $90 unit.Read More »
