Summary: I purchased this lock a week ago to replace an older lock. My bike was stolen yesterday. I was away from my bike for less than 10 minutes - the thief cut through this lock in one clean cut it seems. The police told me this kind of lock is pretty worthless and can be cut through with the smallest wire cutters or even a pair of pliers. I am amazed at the poor quality and lack of strength of this lock, and really question REI for selling such poor quality equipment. It cost me a $1000+ bike. YOU ARE WARNED. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCK.
