Strengths: Unbreakable. Noose is Cool, you can cinch it tight. You can Noose around large things and u-lock your rear wheel though the frame...Weaknesses: Heavy, short (Get the longer one), floppy.Bottom Line: This is a review of the 3' noose design.
This thing looks and is unbreakable. So it is a good deterrant. Just make sure you use it with brains. (lock both wheels and frame to something solid) Weighs a lot but I got it to keep at my work destination so I don't have to carry a lock back and forth. The bad news is the 3' is not long enough go around bike plus anything larger than about 2.5" diameter and the disc lock is a small too. On one hand this is good because thieves cannot get tools in but I wish that I had bought the 4' length instead.
Also, locking with a chain is a real pain in the ass in it's self, especially when it is this heavy. It's like trying to push wet noodle around. It just wants to go DOWN. A U-lock is much easier to handle.
