I think it's safe to assume that one does not face or ream the bottom bracket shell of a carbon fiber frame prior to pressing in the aluminum cups. But is there any way to maximize the fit between the carbon fiber shell and aluminum cup?

Going to install new brakes on my SuperSix and the Cannondale manual says to consult component manufacturers specs for torque values. Shimano says tighten to 8-10nm. Is this too much for the CF? That sounds high to me, I don't want to trash my frame/fork/face.Read More »
