Strengths: Strong, light, durable, holds the bottle outstandingly well.Weaknesses: Rather expensive, but no more then carbon cages that will never last as longBottom Line: This is the strongest bottle cage I've ever used. Believe it or not its even stronger and stiffer then the steel version! It holds the bottle better then any other cage I've used (except possibly the plastic Cateye cages). Takes lots of abuse and keeps on going. And of course it's light at only 30 grams.
Sure, there are lighter carbon cages out there, but eventually, they will break and you will be out your $50. The King cage should last indefinitely, making it a good investment for your money.
I bought my first one with a gift certificate because I thought it was too expensive to splurge on. Now I don't think I'll buy anything else.
Favorite Ride: to be honest... off-road
Price Paid:
$45.00
Purchased At: Little Ades
Similar Products Used: King Steel cages, standard Aluminum cages, Cateye plastic cage, Ringle H20 cage,
Bike Setup: in between main road bikes at the moment
