Summary: Good basic stand. I echo other's comments - it is sturdy, stable, and heavy. The adjustment to the clamp is via two knobs and the knobs sometimes fall out when trying to adjust it to fit the tubes diameter of the bike - which is not always that easy to do, and it doesn't accomodate larger tubing diameters that well. But with fiddling, it works eventually. It has held up well as I have had it now for eight years. Sometimes I wish for a tray to hold small items.
Strengths: Sturdy and long-lasting
Weaknesses: Difficult to adjust clamp

Summary: I just bought the latest version of the Park PCS-1 Stand, and it's even nicer than I was expecting. Lots of "S" words come to mind in describing this stand: Solid | Strong | Sturdy. Also has easy to use features. The clamp is fabulous, very heavy duty. Sure, it's a little more expensive than other home bike repair stands, but this is shop-quality grade stuff. If you want the highest quality relative to price, this is the stand to get.
Strengths: Besides the "S" words: the PCS-1's main strength is its heavy, pro-quality clamp with 360 degree rotation. Worth every penny.
Weaknesses: Well, lighter would be nice, but then it would lose its heavy-duty, professional grade feel. There is a tradeoff.

Summary: Not bad. It folds for storage, but is still very awkard to try and stash away. I have an older model with the lock handle on top - cheap plastic, and you have to crank it to top the bike from rotating. Still, it serves its purpose and it works reasonably well.
Strengths: Good price; solid construction
Weaknesses: Bulky for storage; weak locking clamp
