at Licktons Bike Setup: Cannondale CAAD4, Record 10 with Daytona brakes. Summary: These are your brakes, move up to at least the Chorus for better stopping power on steep descents and less lock up during criteriums. The fact that the pads of the 2000 (it's supposed to be fixed for 2001) don't fit on Campy's own wheels is ridiculous. Strengths: Good looking. Weaknesses: Average stopping power which does not inspire confidence. A lot of fade during hard braking on steep hills. The pads are too wide for Campy rims on Nucleon, and Protons and require constant adjustment up and down in order to keep them from squealing. The pads seem to glaze easily which makes stopping progressively slower. Similar Products Used: Ultegra, Chorus, Record, Dura Ace, Athena
